Baha’i Center

The hub of all of the activities of the local Baha'i Community is the Louisville Baha'i Center at 3808 Bardstown Road, Louisville KY 40218, located in the Buechel business district, southeast of downtown Louisville and due east from the Louisville airport.

The Baha'i Center hosts Devotional Meetings and Children's Classes every Sunday morning, regular meetings of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Louisville (the locally-elected governing body of the community), and other spiritual gatherings throughout the month.

History of the Louisville Baha'i Center

The Baha'i Faith has been represented in the Louisville area since the 1920s. The original building that served as the local Baha'i center in Louisville opened in 1965. It was sold in 1985 when the community outgrew the space.

At that point, the community rented various spaces for its gatherings and held smaller events in the homes of community members.
