In response to a request from the international and national Baha’i governing bodies, the Baha’is of Louisville are joining their coreligionists from around the globe in observing a special devotional gathering today.  The event is being held in conjunction with the next scheduled session of the trial of the Yaran – the seven imprisoned Baha’i leaders in Iran. The program at the Baha’i Center will begin at 2:00 pm.

You are invited to come to pray and lend your support to these stalwart souls who have suffered so long and with such fortitude. In its letter of January 26, the National Spiritual Assembly writes, “The Supreme Institution has . . . noted that the prayers offered by the believers worldwide have been a constant source of comfort and support to the former members of the Yaran . . .‟

Invitations will be sent to our interfaith friends, and the media will be informed of the gathering.  We hope that you will invite your friends as well.
